Service Staff

Peter Charlton
Service Advisor
peter@kingstondodge.com

When you pull into Kingston Dodge’s service drive through you will find me waiting to inspect your vehicle and advise you how to keep it in tip-top condition! The experience I bring to the table is second to none. I have been a Service Writer here for the past 18 years and the 6 years previous to that I worked in the Body Shop and as the Service Dispatcher. Yes, (although I might not look it!) I have been at Kingston Dodge for the past 24 years in total. At times I can honestly say I feel like a piece of the furniture…….in fact, I believe I’ve even been here longer than most of the furniture!
Although I love working with all the staff here at Kingston Dodge I have to thank all the faithful customers who I have had the privilege to build relationships with over the years.

If you’re not already a Kingston Dodge customer and you feel strongly about receiving the best possible automotive service in town, just stop in and see for yourself what we have to offer!

Talk to you soon!

Brenda Dupuis
Warranty Administrator
brenda@kingstondodge.com

What can I say? Having worked at Kingston Dodge for the last 20 years it’s started to feel more like a home than a place of work. However, it seems that with each additional year I add to my experience, my job requirements seemingly grow as well. My job as Warranty Administrator includes keeping the flow of work for our factory trained technicians flowing smoothly so your vehicle gets finished when promised. My colleagues and customers think of me as the “Go-to-Gal” and I find myself bombarded with questions on a daily basis.

Outside of work I manage to keep busy with my family – my husband Claude, daughter Celine and son Etienne. When I do finally have some free time to myself, nothing beats a good jigsaw puzzle!

So next time you happen to be in for service, don’t be shy - poke your head in the service office door and say “hi” to the Go-To-Gal.

Mel Bell
Service Advisor

I joined Kingston Dodge 8 short years ago. I have been a service advisor for over 25 years and always take pride in looking after someone else’s vehicle as if it were my own.

Hope to see you in the future.

Cheers!

Mel

Melodie Allen

“Hello, this is Melodie from the Kingston Dodge service Department…...” Sound familiar? Most of you would probably recognize my voice from hearing it on your voice mail either reminding you that your vehicle is due for service or informing you of our GREAT specials that Kingston Dodge has to offer. My primary roll here at Kingston Dodge is to keep in touch with YOU the customers and be your connection to the service department. If you’re curious about parts you ordered, need to book an appointment or mistakenly missed your appointment and need to reschedule, don’t be shy just pick up the phone and give me a call!

There never seems to be a dull moment in the service department when assisting the Service Advisors and Technicians with their daily hurdles. I must admit I thoroughly enjoy the fast-paced environment that Kingston Dodge has to offer day after day.

I joined the Kingston Dodge team on January 31, 2008 after a previous 7 years of customer service experience; many of you may remember me from working at the Cataraqui Centre. However, even throughout the course of my career I’ve made a point of taking time for my family! I have one teenage daughter living at home with me and she keeps me on my toes! Together we can tell you anything you want to know about the Gilmour Girls! When I’m all alone I enjoy SCUBA diving in my spare time, as well as world travelling.

I look forward to seeing you the next time you’re in for service!

Michael Purdon
Service Advisor

How are you this morning? How can I help? Would you like a coffee? These are just a questions that I may ask you. As a recent addition to the Kingston Dodge family I have enjoyed the new customers and experiences. My position is one of middle man working between the customer and the technician to get your vehicle fixed right.

I have spent five years as a Service Advisor but have always been in customer service positions. I have found customer service to be a most rewarding and challenging job.
Looking forward to seeing you, and giving you a helping hand.

Sincerely,
Michael Purdon.

Paul Throop
Service Manager
paulthroop@kingstondodge.com

After almost 25 years Paul Throop’s vehicle should know it’s own way to work in the morning. For the last several years it has been Paul’s pleasure to serve customers as our service manager. In 1983 Paul completed his automotive apprenticeship and provided eleven years of service in our busy shop as a class A mechanic. He enjoyed the next three years in our show room as a sales person. As he and his wife Julie started their family, Paul found it difficult to juggle family commitments with customer availability so he accepted a daytime position in service as service advisor and was promoted to service manager in 2001. Paul enjoys working with our customers & invites them to stop by to say hello.
